At the 31st Annual Tasters Guild International Wine Competition held in Grand Rapids Michigan, Prairie Berry Winery took home 17 awards, including a double gold medal for Calamity Jane.

Five gold medals were given to Peach Mead, Red Ass Rhubarb, Wild Bill, Frontenac 2017, and La Crescent 2017.
Silver medals were awarded to Black Raspberry Fusion, Razzy Apple, Strawberry Fusion, Brianna, Anna Pesä Chenin Blanc 2017, Anna Pesä Meritage 2015, and Anna Pesä Blaufrankisch 2016.
Other winners included Lawrence Elk, 3Rednecks, Anna Pesä Ruzo Rosé 2017, and Anna Pesä Meritage 2016.
23 judges from around the country completed over 1,400 evaluations of wine from 9 countries and 30 states.
TASTERS GUILD is a society of wine and food lovers which recently associated with the American Wine Society and now consists of over one hundred and twenty chapters throughout the country that provide active and ongoing wine and food events for over 7,000 wine consuming members.
